Colchester City Council (CCC) is inviting all its tenants and leaseholders to participate in its annual Satisfaction Survey.
The survey aims to measure the satisfaction levels of residents with services provided by Colchester Borough Homes (CBH) and can provide invaluable feedback to help focus on priority areas for improvement.
It’s an opportunity for tenants to have their say about the services provided by CBH, from repairs to customer service. Participants' views and opinions are important to help ensure CBH provides the right services and support to its tenants – and as many residents as possible are being encouraged to participate in the survey to ensure that their voices are heard.
Philip Sullivan, Chief Executive of Colchester Borough Homes, said: “Like all other social landlords in England, we will be surveying our residents to find out what they think about the homes they live in and the services that we provide. We will use the satisfaction survey findings to help us provide the very best services we can.
“This is an opportunity for us to learn, adapt, and improve, so that our customers can have confidence in us to deliver a quality standard of service, so do please take the time to share your thoughts with us before the survey closes on 4 August 2023.”
Cllr Paul Smith, Colchester Borough Council Portfolio Holder for Housing, added: “The satisfaction survey reflects the importance of actively listening to the feedback of tenants and leaseholders – both positive and negative – and will serve as a crucial tool in helping CBH to gain a better understanding of its strengths and areas for improvement.
“I would urge people to take part and share their valuable insights. By doing so, you will be contributing to the development and delivery of the best possible services CBH and we, as a council, can offer to enhance the living experience of all our residents.”
The satisfaction survey is anonymous and will only take a few minutes to complete. Selected tenants will receive a copy of the survey in the post, but all residents can take part online. Every resident who completes the survey will have the chance to enter a prize draw and be in with a chance to win of one of 10 £100 supermarket vouchers as a thank you for their time.

Participants are also encouraged to check out the online FAQs before completing the survey, and to contact CBH or one of its housing officers if they experience any technical difficulties.
