Leisure World Colchester is thrilled to announce it will be running a series of free group exercise classes during April to encourage more of us to get out into the great outdoors and feel the benefit of fresh air and exercise.
Getting outside is scientifically proven to trigger a surge of positivity, uplifting your mood and fostering a sense of wellbeing by raising your serotonin levels. In honour of this serotonin boost, the Leisure World team would like to extend an open invitation to anyone in the community to head to Castle Park on the 20 and 27 April and take part in a series of complimentary fitness classes.
To take advantage of the classes we welcome you to pre-register https://forms.office.com/e/6YvtqWS03s or simply turn up on the day. The sessions will be led by qualified instructors who are passionate about helping individuals achieve their health and wellbeing aspirations. Participants can expect expert guidance, motivation, and support throughout each session, ensuring a rewarding and enjoyable experience. You’ll even be registered into a prize draw to win a shrub courtesy of Colchester City Council’s communities' team to brighten up your own outdoor spaces at home!
Colchester Sports Park shall also provide four additional dates to enjoy free outdoor classes on the 22, 23, 29, and 30 April. These sessions will be held at Colchester Sports Park. Registration is simple – just visit the website and sign up for the classes as you would normally.
